About
Ethics in Mind champions the integration of fair, and equitable practices in both the human minds that design AI systems and the artificial minds of the technologies themselves. The initiative highlights the critical responsibility of individuals who create, manage, or make decisions using AI do so responsibly.
At its core, Ethics in Mind highlights the necessity of empowering people with the knowledge to use AI responsibly. Building literacy in AI and data is pivotal for technologists and all members of society. By fostering greater awareness of the opportunities and risks AI presents, this initiative seeks to bridge the gap across age groups and generations, equipping individuals to make informed decisions about their interaction with AI technologies.
The ultimate goal is to create a society where everyone, regardless of their background, can benefit from AI with confidence and insight.

Ethics in Mind was founded by Fatima, a responsible AI & data expert that has worked in technology and financial services for over 10 years, across various roles, including software engineering, technology policy, and regulation. She currently works in financial services advising on responsible AI & data practices. She ensures that AI technologies is used fairly and responsibly and staff understand the benefits and limitations of AI & data use.
Fatima's interests lie in disseminating knowledge and improving literacy on AI and data. She works closely with experts to improve awareness and understanding of AI and data-driven technologies, so that members of society understand the potential risks of AI technologies to help them make informed decisions when using every day products that are powered by AI. Her fascination lies in researching how technology is used across sectors.
